Executive Committee

Voting

Each Individual Member not in arrears has the right to (inter alia) vote on any motion put to General or Special Meeting of the Association. Individual Members not serving on the Executive Committee also enjoy the right to vote at ExCo meetings. Corporate Members have all the rights which Individual Members possess except there is one vote per Corporate Member. Corporate Members are encouraged to attend at least four ExCo meetings during the year.

Executive Committee

Executive Committee (ExCo) meetings are held quarterly when current and new issues are discussed, decisions reached on courses of action to be taken and views on these issues exchanged. ExCo meetings are supplemented with Ordinary General Meetings which focus on a specific and important topic where quick decisions have to be reached.
In between such events there is frequent communication between members by means of phone calls and emails. The Executive Committee (ExCo) is elected at the mandatory Annual General Meeting which is followed by the first ExCo meeting of the new financial year. The Chairman for the year is chosen at this ExCo meeting.
