This is the fifteenth year that the PCMA has been in existence….

It has evolved into a vibrant association whose mission is to "facilitate best practice and clinical outcomes" achieved by the dynamic and constantly relevant education programme.

There is a strong focus on evidence based medicine in the form of:

CPE programmes – monthly regional meetings in Jo'burg, Pretoria and Cape Town. Quarterly in KZN and Eastern Cape

Workshops and seminars – covering pharmacoeconomics and "hot topic" industry issues

Certificates of attendance/competence are issued appropriately

Corporate Members

This entitles the entire company full PCMA membership – all CPE meetings in any region can be attended. Gives the Corporate Member networking opportunities as well as the option to sponsor CPE programmes. Reduced cost for attending the workshops is an additional benefit.

Individual Members

Gives the opportunity to individuals who are independent pharmacists, academics and other associated professionals to attend the education programme, for a reduced fee
