The PCMA has set out to render more transparent the procedures that are followed between funders, providers and managed care organisations.
In so doing educating the patient and involved healthcare professionals thus building confidence in Pharmaceutical Care Management structures.
Objectives: |

Promotion of standards of excellence in pharmacy in a managed care environment. |

Provision of a forum for those stakeholders in heathcare, who have an interest in managed care pharmacy & pharmacoeconomics. |

Facilitate the provision of Continuing Pharmacist Education (CPE) in managed care pharmacy. |

Improvement of the understanding by providers and consumers of managed care pharmacy principles |
